Overview
High Print Gap
The head uses the power of compressed air to achieve a high discharge capability.So it enables high-throw print distance. It can also jet vertically or upward unlike traditional inkjet printheads. This feature removes the limitation of media shape and makes it applicable to a wide range of applications.
Variable Droplet
The droplet size can be changed by precisely addjusting the valve open time. Extremely large droplets,approximately 1000 times larger than those of a traditional inkjet printhead can be ejected.
High Viscosity
By utilising the power of compressed air to smoothly configure the fluid flow path inside the printhead, it is possible to eject liquids that cannot be traditionally be ejected with an inkjet head.
Specification
There are two types of nozzles: multi-nozzle (8 nozzle) and single-nozzle. The latter is mainly used in our system as Auto Body Printer and the former as Tire Printer.

How the valve jet works?

Ink pushed by pressure is ejected from the nozzle only while the valve that closes the nozzle (ejector hole) is open using a piezo element.
Therefore, there are three main control factors: how long the valve is open (Open Time), how often the valve is opened and closed (drive frequency), and air pressure.

What is the gap between the print head and the printed surface?

Although it is possible to eject from 50 mm distance, 10 - 20 mm is recommended from the print quality viewpoint.

What is the resolution?

It will be around 100 dpi.

How long is the life of the print head?

Although it depends on the compatibility with the ink used, the rough reference is about 6 billion times with actuator vibration.

It's possible but please contact us first.
Ink itself and SDS are required to determine the ink's properties (especially viscosity and particle size). We will evaluate simple dispensing, actual printing, and washing.
